Telehealth Strategies to Maximize HIV Care

The Telehealth Strategies to Maximize HIV Care initiative seeks to identify and maximize telehealth strategies most effective for improving linkage to care, retention in care, and health outcomes for people with HIV receiving services through the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP). Through this initiative, JSI funded five RWHAP sites to implement, adapt, and evaluate emerging telehealth coordination strategies. JSI provided technical assistance to the sites and conducted a multi-site evaluation using implementation science to assess the impact of the intervention on clinic, provider, and patient outcomes. Project findings will be broadly disseminated to expand the evidence base for effective, high-quality telehealth delivery and to support uptake and replication of telehealth coordination strategies to improve access to care and address disparities driven by the digital divide.
