Dr. Muka Chikuba-McLeod
President and CEO
As President and CEO, Dr. Muka Chikuba-McLeod is leading JSI into a new era of market expansion and measurable impact. Chikuba-McLeod is a medical doctor and distinguished business strategist, widely recognized for leading transformative programs that deliver life-saving health services and interventions. Chikuba-McLeod holds an MS from Harvard University, School of Public Health; an MPH from Boston University, School of Public Health; and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Zambia. She received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Boston University, School of Public Health in 2023.
Janice Clark
Chief Finance and Operations Officer
As Chief Finance and Operations Officer, Janice Clark works directly with JSI’s President and CEO and Board of Directors to steward funder resources and ensure the organization's financial strength. Beyond her financial leadership, she oversees central services functions, ensuring operational excellence across the organization. With over two decades of experience at JSI and affiliated organizations, Clark has led major initiatives such as organizational mergers and resource realignments, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency. Clark holds a BA and an MA from Boston College and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Brian Parker
Chief Information and Technology Officer
As Chief Information and Technology Officer, Brian Parker drives innovation and operational excellence and is known for his strategic vision and leadership across finance, technology, and federal agencies. Parker has an MS from George Mason University and completed the Chief Technology Officer Program at Wharton Aresty School of Executive Education. His professional certifications include CISSP, PMP, ITIL V3, Certified SAFe Agilist, and Certified Scrum Master.
Frank DeSarbo
Global People Officer
As Global People Officer, Frank DeSarbo leads JSI’s culture and talent strategy, ensuring that the organization’s most valuable asset—its people—are aligned with its global mission. DeSarbo brings a practical, business-focused approach to human resources, using his background in operations to build systems that support stability and growth. With deep roots in the government and international development sectors, he focuses on cultivating an environment where high-performing teams can thrive. DeSarbo holds a Bachelor of Science from Siena College.
Susan Longley
Executive Vice President, U.S. Health Services Division
As Executive Vice President, U.S. Health Services Division, Susan Longley brings a dedication to driving operational excellence and leading enterprise-wide change in high-growth and mission-forward environments. Her expertise is particularly concentrated within the federal civilian sector, where she has built a reputation for effectively supporting clients at the critical intersection of health policy and technology implementation. Longley received the Washington Exec Healthcare Executive of the Year award in 2023 and 2024, and she has her BA from George Mason University.
Edward Wilson
Executive Vice President, International Division
As Executive Vice President, International Division, Edward Wilson builds resilient partnerships, stewards technical expertise, and ensures financial discipline. A renowned global supply chain expert, Wilson also serves as Director of the Partnership for Supply Chain Management, a JSI affiliate organization. He holds an MS from The George Washington University, a BA from Oberlin College, and MITx Micromasters in supply chain management.
Erin Owens
Chief Strategy and Growth Officer
As Chief Strategy and Growth Officer, Erin Owens cultivates valuable partnerships for U.S. and global entities across public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Owens has designed and executed successful public health programs and managed multi-country programs. She leads organization-wide growth by building and mentoring high-performing teams. Owens holds an MPH from The George Washington University and a BA from American University.
Kate Onyejekwe
Vice President, Technical and Program Excellence, International Division
As Vice President, Technical and Program Excellence, International Division, Kate Onyejekwe collaborates with government, private sector, and community partners to build stronger systems and scalable solutions at both the country and community levels. She leads programs to achieve measurable results while adhering to JSI’s standards of excellence, efficiency, and trust. Onyejekwe attained her MPH at Boston University School of Public Health, which awarded her the SPH’s 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award. A Rhodes Scholar, Onyejekwe received her Master of Letters from the University of Oxford and a BA from the University of Ife, Nigeria.
Laura McEvoy
Vice President, Finance and Operations
As Vice President of Program Finance and Operations, Laura McEvoy oversees program financial management, including portfolio budgeting, financial analysis, and operational policies and systems. McEvoy specializes in aligning program finances with organizational standards and client priorities. She leads a cross-functional team dedicated to operational excellence, cost efficiency, and organizational compliance. McEvoy holds an MBA from Boston University and a BA from the University of Sydney.
Rob Schlink
Vice President, Contracts and Compliance
As Vice President of Contracts and Compliance, Rob Schlink is responsible for overseeing ongoing compliance monitoring, risk management, and contractual matters across JSI’s global operations. He works closely with leaders throughout the organization to support a strong culture of ethical behavior and accountability. Schlink uses his expertise in legal, compliance, and accountability matters to effectively and efficiently address risks and compliance concerns. Schlink has a JD from New England School of Law and a BM from Berklee College of Music.
