MOMENTUM Integrated Health Resilience

Despite global progress, a significant number of preventable maternal and child deaths remain concentrated in fragile settings. The MOMENTUM Integrated Health Resilience (MIHR) project, funded by the United States Government, aims to reduce mortality and morbidity by strengthening the health resilience of families, communities, and health care facilities. It achieves this by providing lifesaving MNCH and Nutrition interventions to the most vulnerable and working across the humanitarian-development nexus. In alignment with the America First Global Health Strategy, MIHR’s design and approach facilitate local ownership, increasing the capacity and resilience of health and community systems.

JSI is a partner of the MIHR consortium led by IMA World Health that also includes Care, GOAL USA, and ACHAP. MIHR currently operates in Bangladesh, Burundi, DRC, Ethiopia, Mali, Niger, the Philippines, South Sudan, and Sudan.
