Center for Excellence on Addiction

The Center for Excellence on Addiction is a portfolio of projects offering expert consultation, and data-driven, evidence-informed training and technical assistance. We partner with communities, practitioners, policymakers, and other collaborators to effectively address addiction and reduce the consequences of alcohol and other drug misuse. Since 2009, the Center has supported numerous initiatives across the substance use continuum of care, focusing its work on quality improvement, systems change, and capacity building. A key function of the Center is to identify best practices and translate them into real-world environments at the state, local, and organizational levels.
