Communities across the United States continue to face challenges to digital access that limit education and workforce opportunities, and essential services. Even when connectivity and devices exist, many community-based organizations lack the capacity, staff time, and instructional tools needed to deliver effective, future-ready digital literacy—particularly in fast-evolving areas like AI literacy.

Through a partnership with AT&T, World Education, a JSI initiative, leads the technical assistance and learning strategy for over 80 AT&T Connected Learning Centers (CLCs) nationwide. Housed in trusted nonprofit organizations in rural, urban, and tribal communities, centers support digital upskilling for host organizations and thousands of community members annually.

World Education provides hands-on technical assistance on foundational digital skills, online safety and privacy, workforce-aligned technology use, and AI literacy, helping each CLC design integrated, sustainable services aligned with local needs. Project partners provide on-the-ground access, mentoring, and learning support.
