HEART-BP Program Patient Experience Evaluation

The HEART-BP investment program aims to address disparities in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy using patient-centered remote blood pressure monitoring (RBPM) technology. JSI will evaluate the program across five implementation sites using qualitative methods to learn about participants’ experience with the program, the RBPM technology, and the care they received. Sites will use the evaluation to inform quality improvement efforts that aim to ensure accessible, patient-centered RBPM programs, including patient experience with: use of RBPM technology; communication with program and/or care team; participation and impact on sense of safety; participation and impact on care; and whether needs and expectations were met.
